LLOYD
Lewis P. Lloyd, 92, of Kyra Way,Plains, PA, died on Saturday night at his home. He was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on May 14, 1916, the son of the late Daniel and Ida (Morgan) Lloyd. He graduated from Oak Hill High School and attended Ohio State. He served in the US Army Air Corp. during WW II in Italy and Africa. Lewis had been a resident of Plains, PA, for the past 3 years. Previously he had resided in Grove City, Ohio. Prior to his retirement he was employed as an accountant for the City of Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Grove City. He was also a life member of the Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu Association and the Welsh Society of Central Ohio. Surviving are his wife, the former, Margaret (Williams), married 46 years; daughter: Megan S. Lloyd and her husband, William T. Irwin, of Kingston, son; John D. Lloyd of Albany, NY.; 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Kate Irwin. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 6 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service at 10 A.M. on Saturday, January 3rd at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Tolar officiating. The Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Oak Hill,OH.
