Lillian I. Fox, 89, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006, at St. Ann's Hospital. She was born November 9, 1916, in McKane, PA. After graduating from Meadville High School, she moved to Columbus to work for the Bible Literature League for five years before going to work for Federal Glass Company for five years. She then went to work for Ohio State Life insurance (now known as Farmers Life Insurance Co.). She retired from there at age 65. She received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Franklin University. On May 30, 1942 she married Joseph Fox, who died in 1973. Also predeceasing her was her son, Frank J. Fox on September 22, 2004 and her daughter, Janet Akers on December 22, 2004 as a result of an auto accident. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Helen Page of Massillon; nieces, Judy Brien Peter of MI, Pat Brien of Papua, New Guinea, Jeanette Gates of Massillon, Gail Page of TN and Jane Dabb of FL; nephews Carl Johnson of Saegertown, PA and David Brien of S.C. A memorial service will be Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Lifebridge Church 5543 Sinclair Rd. Columbus. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lifebridge Church 5543 Sinclair Rd.
