Linda Ruth Byers

Linda Ruth Byers, age 73, passed away on July 11, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 20, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Charles and Marjorie Gribble.

She was a lifelong resident of the Columbus area. Linda worked in an administrative role for the government for 30 years. Family was everything to her and she was the glue that held her family together. She did everything she could for the people she loved. And will always be remembered as a strong and caring woman. She enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales in her later days. She also enjoyed watching her mystery shows, especially Blue Bloods and the Hallmark channel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon Theodore Byers; son, Duane Byers.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Byers; sons, George Byers, Ted Jr. Byers, Troy Byers, Bill (Shana) Shea; grandchildren, Eva (Brad), Duane Lee, Dusty, Christopher, Cathleen, Tristian, Jessica, Ted III, Jayden, Alaina, Alexander, Callina (Eric), Brendon and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon (Gus) Furniss, Joy Jordan, Arlene (Rick) Kennington, Ken Gribble, Mike (Jennifer) Gribble and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, July 19, 2021 and again from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
