Linda Gay Estep, 70, entered into the presence of God on August 30, 2021.
Linda was born in West Virginia in 1951 to parents Lorene (Meade) and Grady Perry. The family moved to Columbus, Ohio when Linda was a baby, where she grew up in a large, close-knit family with many beloved siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
She graduated from Franklin Heights High School before attending business school.
Linda married Charles Rapp in 1972. They raised a family of four children together and moved to Lake Mary, Florida. Unfortunately, Linda was widowed in 2000 when Charles passed away at the age of 49.
God provided another husband and mate for Linda when she returned to Ohio and married Lonnie Estep in 2003. Linda was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, and her family is grateful for her love, sense of adventure, and sense of humor.
Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles E. Rapp Sr.; her mother, Lorene (Meade) Perry; her father, Grady Perry; and her second husband, Lonnie Estep.
Linda is survived by her sister, Cathy M. (Perry) Miller; brother, Clarence E. Perry; daughter, Amanda Jodon (Jonathan) of Dillsburg, PA, son Charles Rapp, Jr. (Tara) of Ephrata, PA; son Samuel Rapp (Sarah) of Cleveland, TN; son Brian Rapp (Katherine) of Lindale, TX; and grandchildren: Alec Rapp (20), Caleb Jodon (18), JiaLing Rapp (17), Leah Jodon (16), Ian Rapp (15), Elizabeth Rapp (14), Ana Jodon (13), Avalyn Jodon (12), Judah Rapp (11), Katie Rapp (11), Isaac Jodon (9), Claire Rapp (9), Hannah Rapp (9), Lauren Rapp (8), Reagan Rapp (4), and Alice Rapp (2).
Visitation will be held on Monday August 13, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm, with memorial service Tuesday morning August14, 2021 at 10:30am, both at Newcomer Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231.
Linda will be laid to rest in Green Hill Cemetery off Johnstown- Alexandria Road in Johnstown, OH following the memorial service.
