Linda K. Hammond, 79, of , Dublin, OH passed away October 15, 2021.
She was born in Kenton, OH on May 14, 1942 to the late Grover and Celesta (Wilke) Chamberlin.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth L. Hammond; brother, Grover (Juanita) Chamberlin; sisters, Eleanor (Harold) Davis, Carolyn (Albert) Arnett; brothers-in-law, Bill Brinkman, and Bill Glancy.
Surviving family includes, sons Ron (Deborah) Hammond, Timothy (Shonna) Hammond; grandchildren, Kaijen, Brock, Felicity; sisters, Wilda Brinkman, Connie Glancy; as well as many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Linda retired from Batelle Memorial Institute and Kroger Bakery after over 35 years.
She volunteered at the Riverside Methodist Sewing Guild.
Linda was an active member of the East North Broadway Methodist Church, as she served as a Sunday School teacher and clerk for over 40 years.
She loved her card club friends.
Linda was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; she will be truly missed.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231. Funeral Services will be held immediately after. Inurnment will take place at a later date, at Union Cemetery.
