Linda D. (Franco) Harris, 61, of Gahanna, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Linda is the daughter of the late Henry and Betty (Ballenger) Jenkins. Survivors include her daughters, Gina Franco Atkins and Sharon (Terry) Luft; sister, Toni (Doug Schmidt) Jenkins; brother, George (Kyou) Martz, of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Paige Claar, Kayla Luft and Kerston Atkins; companion, George A. Webb; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 2252 and VFW Paul S. Lawrence Ladies Auxiliary 9857. Linda will be missed by all who knew her. Linda's family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2009, 2-5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to either Mount Carmel Hospice or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
