Linda J. VanWalsen Funk Pearson, 62, Columbus, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, after an extended illness. Linda was born in MacMinnville, OR to the late John and Mary (Atkinson) VanWalsen on July 22, 1949. Survivors include her sons, Travis D. (Jeannie), Kurt D. (Misti) and Jonathan E. (Kelly) Funk; brothers, John D. (Laura) and Richard D. (Maggie) VanWalsen; sister, Judith "Judy" VanWalsen; grandchildren, Chelsea, Mariah, McKenzie, Renee, Staci, Traci, Dax, Chance, Hunter, Zander; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Dearian, Courtney, Kiarra, Daegan, Caeden, Joshua "JJ"; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.
