Linda L. Evec, 71, of Columbus, went home to the Lord, on her birthday, May 30, 2013 at Kobacker House Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 30, 1942 in Bucyrus to the late Robert and Mildred Johnson.
On July 1, 1967, she married Theodore C. Evec. Linda and Theodore "Ted" lived in Columbus, Ohio.
Linda worked as an Associate Lab Director for Roxane Laboratories. She loved her job and in her spare time enjoyed quilting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Ted; children, Erik (LeEdra) Evec, Erin (Brad) Lemity; grandchildren, Micah, A.J., Ryan, Mitchell and one great grandson, B.J.; twin brother, Larry Johnson and many extended family members and good friends.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM, Monday, June 3, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231 where Funeral Services will begin at 7 PM Monday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration; AFTD Radnor Station Building 2, Suite 320 290 King of Prussia Road Radnor, PA 19087.
