Linda L. McCormick, 68, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Born to George and Mary E. (McGuire) McMasters in Martins Ferry, OH on September 17, 1940, Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, George and Harrison McMasters. Survivors include her daughters, Julie Rodriguez and Stacey (Roger) Spangler; sons, Wade (Sally) Wallace and Ryan (Tammy) Wallace; sisters, Dee Kovach and Betsy (Arley) McCormick; grandchildren, Brandie, Renea, Melanie, Belynda, Devin, Hayden and Elizabeth; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Linda was retired from Macy's in retail and catering management. Linda enjoyed cooking, sewing, cake decorating, interior design and helping others in need. Linda's family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2009, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Mount Carmel Hospice, C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 793 West State Street, Columbus, OH 43222-9988.
