Linda Pauline Stevenson, 75, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born to the late James and Martha (Carter) Thompkins, in Powellton, WV, on July 17, 1932. Preceded in death by her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Stevenson; brothers, David and James Thompkins. Survivors include her daughters, Lillian (William) Sharp and Felicha (Ray) Gordon; sons, Andrew Thompkins, John (Deidre) Edward Lewis, David (Angela) Thompkins, Keith (Dawn) Thompkins; sister, Etta (Harold) Logan; 18 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren; loving niece, Yvette Thompkins and numerous other nieces and nephews. Linda was a faithful and very active member of the Wesley Church of Hope United Methodist Church . Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Wesley Church of Hope United Methodist Church, 2935 Bulen Avenue, Columbus, OH with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Eastlawn Cemetery.
