Linda Ann Payette, born on June 1, 1947, in Fremont, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A beacon of kindness, strength, and positivity, Linda was admired for her upbeat personality and unwavering compassion. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel valued, always putting others first and ensuring they were taken care of.
Throughout her life, Linda was not only a dedicated family member but also a passionate sports fan. An avid Ohio State Buckeyes supporter, she cherished the thrill of football and basketball games. Her love for her family was profound, and she often relished sharing stories about them, showcasing her pride in her children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. She had a passion for cooking and loved trying new recipes, often gathering her family around the dining table, which brought her great happiness.
Linda's home was a testament to her caring nature, always tidy and welcoming, a reflection of her take-charge personality. She dedicated 54 wonderful years to building a life with her husband, Tim, and together they created a warm and nurturing environment that their family thrived in. Her pride in her sons, Joseph and Jeffrey, as well as her grandchildren, Caitlyn and Joshua, was immeasurable.
She is survived by Husband, Timothy Payette, Son, Joseph Payette, Son, Jeffrey (Kelly) Payette, Grandchild, Caitlyn (Andrew Corazza) Payette, Grandchild, Joshua (Samantha Cleveland) Payette, Brother, Richard LeJeune, Brother, Rex LeJeune, who shared many treasured moments with her throughout their lives.
Linda is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert LeJeune and Beatrice LeJeune, and her brother, Rev. Ronald J. LeJeune.
In remembrance of Linda's life, her family invites friends to pay their respects at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast in Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be held on March 19, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 4:00 PM.
Linda's spirit will continue to be a guiding light to all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family.
