Linda Sue Winter

Linda Sue Wayt Winter passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Holly Hill, West Columbus, on September 2, 2013. She was born in Wheeling, WV, on January 14, 1943. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry E. Wayt, Jr., and Retha Bennett Wayt, and a step-daughter, Christine Winter.
She is survived by her husband Gerald L. Winter, brother Douglas (Susanna) Wayt, step-son Richard (Barbara) Winter, 7 step-grandchildren, and 10 step- great grandchildren.
Linda was a Triadelphia High School graduate, class of 1960. She was devoted to her family and friends, home and pop music. She was an accomplished homemaker, pianist and seamstress.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, on September 5, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m., with Funeral Service beginning at 7pm.
Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11:30 am at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Mount Carmel Hospice, c/o Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
