Lindsay Cave Taliaferro Jr.

Lindsay was born April 17, 1935 to the late Lindsay C. Taliaferro, Sr. and Eleanor Young Taliaferro in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was born with a lot of energy and sustained that throughout his long and full life. Lindsay loved to build houses, businesses and he did so with much enthusiasm and a love for all things new. He graduated with a chemistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania and attended the Warton School of Business. An excellent trombonist who performed all his life on school bands and community orchestras. An accomplished horseman, he was an endurance rider and competed in 4 in hand carriage competitions. He was a past president of the American Endurance Ride Conference and an officer in the Moore County NC Drive Club. He is survived by is wife of 67 years, Christine Moranz Taliaferro, his children, Mary H. Kaczor, Lindsay C. Taliaferro III(Paula), and Edward Taliaferro. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will have a Celebration of his life at a later date.
