On Friday, July 2, 2021, Lisa Ann Logan, of the West side, passed away unexpectedly in her home at the age of 56.
Born September 30, 1964 in Portsmouth Ohio to Patricia Logan. Lisa and her mother moved to Columbus in 1970. A 1982 graduate of Franklin Heights High School, Lisa was a proud member of the NJROTC as well as many other groups and clubs. Her goal was to serve her country in the NAVY but chose a different path after graduation.
An animal lover, Lisa often donated to the ASPCA and Capital Area Humane Society. From her teenage years on, she had many pets. She loved helping friends with their pets as well as helping take care of farm animals. She had recently adopted a cat from the Humane Society, her beloved Taz. Lisa was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and an FOP Booster respectively. She was a proud supporter of the men and women that have and currently serve in the military as well as local Police and Firefighters.
Lisa never knew a stranger. If she befriended you, she would give the shirt off her back to take care of you. Caring and selfless are just a few words friends and family would use to describe her. Lisa loved spending time with family and friends but she especially enjoyed cooking for them during the holidays. Carrying on in the traditions of her mother and grandmother, Lisa cooked Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for family and friends every year using recipes passed down through generations. Lisa wore many hats throughout her professional career. She enjoyed learning new skills and constantly worked toward advancement and promotions. She took great pride in being a "team player" and was a valued member of any organization she was a part of.
Lisa is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ellen Logan and her mother, Patricia Williams (Pat). She is survived by her brother, Barret Williams (Cyndi Tabor), uncle, Blain (Georgia) Logan, aunt, Elois Maddox, cousins, Tony, David, BJ and Sherri and longtime companion, Alan Hix as well as extended family members.
