Lois Burge

Lois Burge left this life for her eternal home on February 11th 2024. Until the end Lois maintained her grace, compassion, appreciation of lifes beauty, and a expressed dedication and devotion to the Lord.

Lois's life can be summed up in four words, faith, family, friends, and fun. In her 84 years she made sure to experience and enjoy all four in great abundance.

Lois was born October 9th 1939 in Columbus Ohio to Oscar and Georgia Walker. She is succeeded in death by her beloved sister Elaine and brother Oscar.

She attended Southwestern City Schools and graduated from Grove City High School in the class of 1957. Later she obtained her Associates Degree from Columbus State in 2009. She was an endeared employee of the Defense
Supply Center of Columbus for 38 years until her much deserved retirement.

Lois is survived in death by her dear sons Timothy Burge, and Christopher (Chaunta) Burge. As well as her beloved grandchildren Ciemone, Brianna, Tyler, Justin, and Tiaira. Her nieces and nephews Tracy and Lawrence Turner also Lori Benton. The extra joys in her, life great grandchildren Xavier, M.J., and Ky. With a large host of additional family, and great friends in her community as well as her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

With her soft voice, endearing laugh, and embracing smile she will forever be remembered, rest easy Lois, rest easy.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
