Lois "Gert" Gordon, 71, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Langley and Arlene (Sturgill) Mays in Sandy Hook. KY, on March 6, 1938, Lois is preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Jacquelyne (Derek) Williams; sons, Jeffrey (Joyce) Aliff, Scott (Shari) Aliff, Gregory Aliff; sister, Sharon Scott; brother, Timothy Howard; grandchildren, Andrew, Preston, Cassie, Curtis, Kyle, Shelby, Cheri; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
