Loran E. Loughran, 81, of Grove City, passed away Monday, September 7, 2009 at Summerville at Pinnacle Assisted Living. He was born July 13, 1928, in Columbus, son of the late Thomas and Gladys Glassburn Loughran. In addition to his parents, Loran was preceded in death by his son, William Alan Loughran; pets, Mindy, Cindy and Sandi. He retired with over 30 years of service from the State of Ohio as an accountant. Loran is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Conaway Loughran; sisters-in-law, Mary Conaway and Naomi Conaway; aunt, Aileen Foreman; niece, Vicki Conaway; nephews, Rob (Ruth Ann) and Mark Conaway; great niece, Rebecca Conaway; great nephew, Ryan Conaway and many other relatives, friends and members of the Grove City Nazarene Church. Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Fuller and Pastor Owen Stotts, officiating. Interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Grove City Nazarene Church Building Fund, 4770 Hoover Rd. Grove City, OH 43123.
