Loren J. McCarty, 86, of Columbus, passed away March 31, 2008. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark McCarty; parents, Michael and Effie McCarty and his siblings. Loren is survived by his wife, Virginia and son, Charles McCarty. Loren was a U.S. Veteran of the Navy. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and V.F.W.
