Loren V. Mains, 62, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at OSU Medical Center. Born November 20, 1950 in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Loren was an avid photographer and a member of the OCCS as well as a past member of the local VFW. He was previously employed by the American Cancer Society.
Preceded in death by father, Harold Hoodlet and step-father, Charles Mains.
Survived by his wife, Jodi Mains of 25 years; son, Tyler Mains; mother, Wanda Mains; sisters, Sherry Windland, Wendy McGee and step-brother, Michael Hoodlet; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends including faithful companion, Champ.
Friends may call from 11 AM to 1PM Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, where services will begin at 1 PM with Pastor Brett Castle officiating. Burial in Northlawn Memory Gardens.
