Lorena Holiday

Lorena Holiday, age 70, of Columbus passed away on February 7, 2023. She was born in Cleveland on April 6, 1952 to the late Solomon and Addie Holiday.

Lorena is survived by her loving daughter, Shawnte` Trowsdell; sister, Gail Byrd; 3 nieces, Kimberley, Nikki, Monique; nephew, Michael; granddaughter, Teyani; 5 great-nephews, Londyn, Jordyn, Aaron, Christian, Michael Jr.; 4 great-nieces, Ashley, Sidney, Mia, Journee; 4 great-great-nephews, Mason, Jordyn Jr., Huey, Moris; great-great-niece, Olivia; special honorable mention of Shawnte's aunts, Dorothy, Ruby, Betty and Mae; along with many other family and friends.

The family welcomes donations to SARCO, The Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio. Lorena dedicated her life for 26 years as an Advocate committed to survivors and with every encounter she made sure that every person left empowered.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
