Lorraine "Lori" Speakman, age 50, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009. She was born on October 17, 1958 to Arthur and Opal Steele in Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Robert "Bob" Speakman; son, Joey (Shauna) Steele; step-daughter, Tonyia (John Bundy) Ward; grandchildren, Faith Steele, Joey W. Steele III, and Brook Steele; sister, Roseanne (John) Wieronski; brother, David Steele; special niece, Makesha; Brother in-law. Ronnie (Jean) Speakman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to Hospice and Homecare for all of there care, all the of the doctors and nurses at Riverside Hospital, especially PT, Mt. Carmel West, Grant Medical Center, Doctors West Hospital, and Monterey Care Center; and all of the friends and family who showed their support, especially Bev , and Sandy Long. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Grove City Church of God, 4325 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lori's memory to the Grove City Church of God. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel.
