LouAnn Sheets, age 77, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Meadow Grove Transitional Care.
LouAnn was born on June 21, 1945, in Cabin Creek, WV, a daughter of the late Donald and Mary Fisher Duncan. She grew up in Olive Hill, KY where she loved the simple things in life like helping her mom with the garden and playing with her siblings. She met her husband Ted and raised her own family in Ohio. She was a devoted mother who kept an immaculate home. She put her own beautiful touch on her home décor and fashion, and was known for her pretty and delicate style. In contrast, her personality was pure firecracker. She fiercely loved and protected her family. She was energetic, meticulous and hard-working. She treasured time with her family and had special bonds with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the most intent listener any family member or friend could ask for. She knew how to make a person feel understood. LouAnn was deeply loved and appreciated, and she will be missed by many.
In addition to her parents, LouAnn was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Sheets; her brothers Ardle Duncan, Kermit Duncan and Charlie Duncan; her sister Genevive Lucas; her daughter Brenda Frye; her son Donald Richard Sheets and his wife Melissa Sheets; and her granddaughter Andrea Sheets.
LouAnn is survived by her sisters Faye Barker, Sue Carroll, and Mary (Tootsie) Yerian; her sons Micah (Wendy) Sheets and Michael (Patricia) Sheets; grandchildren Tiffany Frye, Ethan Sheets, Andrew Larson, Alyssa Osborne, Ava Sheets and Lexi Sheets; great grandchildren Trinity McGath and Braden Hren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation is being held at Newcomer - Southwest Chapel at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm with a remembrance service at 4:00pm. Following the service family and friends are welcome to join the Sheets family for a meal at The Grove Church located at 4371 Grove City Rd, Grove City, OH 43123.
