Louis "Rube" Bowersmith, 75, passed away November 20, 2012. He was born in Briggsdale, OH, July 30, 1937.
Rube was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna and parents, Gail and Ethel Bowersmith. He is survived by sons, William (Tammy) and Terry; grandchildren, Jeremy, Amber (Wes) and Glenn; and great-grandson, Zeke.
Rube served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Local Moose Lodge #11 and VFW. Rube owned and operated A&B Fence Company for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, playing cards, trips to Canada and most of all Street Rodding. Rube loved getting together with all of his great friends and putting on car shows. Rube had his own Cruisin' Hot Line, Rubes Cruisin' News. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
Visitation Monday, November 26, 2012 from 5 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
