Louis John Hassel

Louis John Hassel, 75, of Powell OH, passed away on April 17th, 2023. He was born on July 8th, 1947 in Avon OH, the son of the late Clement and Bernice Hassel. Louis was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle, survived by his loving wife of 53 years Judy Hassel, his daughters Allyson Cron (married to Mark Cron) and Samantha Beattie (married to Kyle Beattie), his sister Ann Crump and his grandchildren Anastasia Hassel, Noah Cron, Annabelle Cron and Jackson Beattie.

Lou was a creative and inventive man who constantly improved the world around him. He was deeply passionate about his family, particularly his grandchildren, and will be remembered with smiles and giggles by those who knew him best.

A private memorial service will be held for Louis. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor his memory may make a donation to Hospice of Central Ohio, a nonprofit organization that provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families. Louis received exceptional care from Hospice of Central Ohio, and the family would like to express their gratitude by supporting this organization in his memory.
