Louis "Anthony"(Lud), 57, Columbus resident, departed this life on Sunday, December 20th , 2009. Anthony was an avid member of Boy Scout Troop #78, graduate from Marion Franklin High School class of 1971, and member of the school band. His love of music continued as he played piano, organ and wrote music. He organized the group Soul Superbs in high school and they played together for twenty years. Anthony was a long time member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and worked for Hansman Steel for twenty years. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Sr. and Annie L. Ludaway, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his son Derrick and grandson Jaylen, brothers, Richard (Margaret), Wade Sr., Godfrey (Sharon), Raymond, Andrew "Mark", Matthew (Teresa), Eric (Fannie), Ronnie (Janice) Ludaway, sisters, Doris Stewart, Vivian White, Arnetta (David) Meade, and Velma, Peggy and Wanda Ludaway. He also leaves to mourn a host of other Long, Ludaway and Mills family relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday December 28th , 2009 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am all at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Interment immediately following service in Evergreen Cemetery.
