Louis Mason, age 65, of Columbus, passed away July 20, 2009. He attended Central High School and was formally employed with Howard's Auto Parts and retired in 1990 from the City of Columbus as a mechanic. He had been a resident of Monterey Care Center for the past 7 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Lucious Mason and Lindel Lilly, brothers Donald Park, Eldon Park, Thomas Park, sisters Joann Mercer and Janet Ringheison. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Joan Mason, brother Gib Mason, daughters Lynda (Mike) Frost, Nicole Mason, sons Louis Mason II, Tracy Whitescarver, Lonny (Kristy) Whitescarver, grandchildren Christina (Binky), Michael, Danielle, Taryn, Zack, Zoey, Chris and Ryan, great-granddaughter Kyleigh, numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Calling hours are between 4-7 pm Thursday July 23, 2009 with a memorial service at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway Ave, Grove City, OH 43123.
