Louise Marie Bethel

Louise Marie (Golden) Bethel, age 96, of Dublin, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on December 11, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1925, in Columbus, to the late Ben and Jeanette (Evans) Golden.

Louise and her late husband, John, were former members of Friendly Ties and Bunkhouse Reeler's square dance club. She enjoyed playing golf, card games and watching wonderful movies. She would end every meal in dessert, and all of her baking was delicious! Her family and friends meant the world to her and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, John Bethel and Diane Page; grandchildren, Ashley, Chris (Jennifer), Ryan, Natalie and Tyler (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Skylar, Hayden, Cullan and Beau Louie; brother, Ben Golden; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Pierpoint, Audrey Melville and Nancy Drake; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband of 62 years, John Bethel; and her son, Larry Bethel.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 11-12 noon, at the Newcomer NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, 43065, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.
