Lu Eva Lathey

Lu Eva Lathey, 82, of Mount Sterling, Ohio, passed away January 20, 2024. She was born on July 8, 1941 to her parents Leslie and Sarah Jane (Collins) Creech. She later met the love of her life Robert Lathey and for 59 years they created a beautiful life.

Lu worked for Huntington Bank for 34 years, even becoming the Vice President. Lu was a great cook, and enjoyed her coffee with Reese's cups. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. She loved her dogs and flowers.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Leslie Creech, Mother, Sarah Jane Creech, and sister; Betty and Bonnie. Surviving family includes, her Husband of 59 years Robert, daughter Michelle Ross, and sons; Colin Lathey and Tommy Stage. Grandchildren; Jessica and Chelsea, great grandchildren; Malakai and Kaydence.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, January 29, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Cemetery.
