Lucas Benjamin Schroder

Lucas Benjamin Schroder, age 17 of Galloway, passed from this life on January 25, 2018 at Nationwide Children's Hospital following a 7 1/2 month battle with complications from encephalitis. He was born on September 21, 2000.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Mark and Janice; older brother, Nathan and his favorite sister, Katherine Schroder. In addition, he is surrounded by his grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and most certainly many friends.
Luke was a beloved member of London Apostolic Gospel Church. He loved Church camp, puppetry, children's ministry, jazz music, Legos, Michigan Wolverines and Columbus Blue Jackets, just like his big brother, gaming with his best friends and jokes galore. Luke gave anyone that knew him laughter. He made everyone feel like they were his best friend.
Special thanks to the care provided by Nationwide Children's Hospital staff through this journey.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the First Apostolic Church of Dublin, 6477 Eiterman Road, Dublin, Ohio 43016, where the Celebration of Luke's life will be held following at 4:00 pm. Reverends Richard Collins and L. J. Harry, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to London Apostolic Gospel Church for Sheaves for Christ in his memory, 101 Shady Ave., London, Ohio 43140.
Luke's life had impacted hearts around the world and he will be missed deeply.
