Lucille Gillum, 74, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2009. She was born on July 5, 1934 in Rocky Branch, Kentucky. She was one of ten children born to the late Innis and Bertha Lewis. Lucille was a longtime real estate agent for Saxton Real Estate and was the President of Columbus Cathedral Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edward Gillum. Survivors include her children, Eddie David Gillum, Dwight (Bonnie) Gillum, Christopher (Tina) Gillum, Annette (Don) Hawks, James Gillum, and Anita (Don) Phillips; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Lucille was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Brother Christopher Gillum officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, Ohio.
