Lucy Woods, 70, of Columbus, OH passed away December 6, 2012. She was born on April 17, 1942. She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Woods and parents, Melvin J. and Margie (Ward) Morrison.
Surviving family includes, daughter, Tamela (Mike) Graul, son, Jeff (Kathy) Woods, grandchildren, Samantha and Jessica Woods and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Mullins. She is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 5:00pm, Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, December 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
Additional visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, KY. Burial will follow at the Morrison Cemetery, Floyd County, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Capital Area Humane Society.
