Lula Thomas, 74, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, surrounded by her loving family. Born September 12, 1932, in Madison County to Emery and Florence (Kramer) Yutzy, Lula is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Thomas; brothers, Daniel and Norman Yutzy. Survivors include her sons, Robert C. (Pamela) and Randall E. (Jeanette) Thomas; brothers, Ralph (Sue), Homer (Elizabeth), Valentine (Anne), Paul (Martha), and Allen Yutzy; sisters, Katherine Yutzy, Ada (Levi) Schlabach, Esther Zeitz; grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Alexander, and Rachel Thomas. Lula was a member of the New Horizon United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society, and Moose Lodge #11. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2006, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m., with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
