Luther Joseph "Joe" Beane Jr. , 93, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away August 21, 2022. He was born on February 5, 1929 in Blue Hill, Maine to the late Luther J. Sr. and Hazel J. (Grindle) Beane.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 68 years, Marietta (Anderson) Beane.
Joe enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and proudly served for 6 years. He went on to continue serving his country in the Army National Guard for 19 years.
He is survived by his three children, Kathy (Daniel) Lawson, Gerald (Christine) Beane, Dwayne (Robin) Beane; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild, Evelyn.
Joe will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
