Lydia Gibson, age 79, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009. Lydia is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jack Gibson; daughters, Jacque (Jack) Folk, and Faye Broyles; sons, Roger Carter, Daniel Gibson, and Nick Carter; grandchildren, Janice, Jeffrey, Tammy, Chris, Gary, David, Damien, Britny, Jacque, Tracy, and Mike; great grandchildren, Ashley, Angel, David, Courtney, Dava, Casey, Cierra, and Cody; sisters, Leona Allen, and Gracie Christian; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 1000 Green Lawn Ave, Columbus, Ohio. Pastor James Spangler officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel.
