B. Lynn (Sullivan) Guay, PhD, LPCC-S, NBCC, LCDC II, age 41, was born February 16, 1971 in Columbus, OH and passed away November 26, 2012 after a brief but valiant fight with cancer.
She was a graduate of West High School, received an Associate Degree from Columbus State Community College, B.A. from Capital University, M.A. from University of Dayton and PhD in Psychology from Union Institute and University in Cincinnati.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Patrick Guay; parents, Daniel, Sr. and Beverly Sullivan; brother, Daniel, Jr. (Debra) Sullivan; sister, Amanda (Brian) Sullivan Flesher; niece, Stephanie Sullivan; nephew, Ryan Sullivan; grandmother, Wilma Owsley Allison; her rescue and adopted dogs (her canine children); aunts; uncles; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, William Sullivan, Marie Sullivan and Fred J. Owsley, and her uncle, David Sullivan.
Lynn was employed as an adjunct professor at Columbus State Community College and Miami Jacobs University as well as Counseling, LTD on W. Broad St. Lynn loved working with her students and therapy clients. She also loved the holidays. Her laughter and participation in family gatherings will be cherished and remembered always.
Visitation Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 11am to 1pm and 3pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
