Lynn Long

Lynn "Freckles" Long, age 72 of Grove City, OH, passed away on May 24, 2022. She was born on May 18, 1950 to the late Thomas Keith and Velma Jean (Harrison) Williams in Gallipolis, OH. Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Gary Long, children Gary W. (Toby) Long, Tanya (Ryan) Butcher and Krysta (Russell Birtcher) Long, grandchildren Courtney, Gavin, Tyler, Katelyn, Haleigh, Keelyn, Cede, Gianna, Grayden and Emma, great grandchildren Braxton and Ramona, brother Tom (Cindy) Williams, mother-in-law Florence Sisson, several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Graduated from Franklin Heights in 1968, she was in the band all through high school, retired from South Western City Schools. She loved to bake. Lynn loved spending time with her grandchildren and classmates.


Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Funeral service to follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Richard Jones officiating. Burial to follow at 3:00pm at Jacobs Cemetery Road, Jackson, OH.
