Malina May Esbenshade

Malina May Esbenshade, of Carroll, Ohio, was a caring wife, mother, daughter, sibling, and friend. She left this world suddenly on December 19th, 2021 at the age of 47. Malina was born September 1st, 1974 to John and Nancy (Balch) Paugh.

She was married to Lamar R. Esbenshade Jr. for 26 years. She was an amazing mother to four children, Daniel, Taylor, Abigail, and Joseph. She is survived by her husband, parents, children, and her siblings, Basil Sands, Christie (Sands) Edsell, and Jonathan Paugh.

Those who knew her remember her bright smile, infectious laugh, honest and caring wisdom, and her unrelenting friendship and support for those she held close. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and lived a wonderful example of Christ-like service, giving of all she had and always putting the needs of others before her own. She loved spending time with her family and friends, creating special meals, and looking after all of the little details that demonstrated her selfless love. Malina will be cherished and deeply missed by her husband, children, parents, siblings, and all those who knew and loved her.


Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 11:00am until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
