Margaret (Pegge) Burnley Barnes of Upper Arlington and Lakeside, Ohio, quietly left this world at home Thursday morning, surrounded by her family. Born November 14, 1926, died March 18, 2004. Daughter of Nancy and Percival Danks, who preceeded her in death. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert; beloved sister, Bette Lou (Tom) Frye, brother-in-law, Dick (Nancy) Barnes. Children Susan (Dale) Henry, Thomas (Robin) Barnes, Betsy (Gilbert) fiancé' Tom), Grandchildren, Andy (Lori) Brown, Jason (Chrissy) Brown, Megan Textor, Katie (Scott) Maietta, Jeff (Heather) Brown, Maggie Gilbert. Great Grand-daughters, Alexandra, Sydney, Reese, Emma, Rebecca and Abigail Brown. Mrs. Barnes was an avid fisherwoman and boater and she loved being at Lake Erie. Memorial Service to be held Monday, March 29, 2004 at 6:30PM, at Maranatha Community Fellowship, 6240 Lucas Pike at SR 42 and Lucas Pike, Plain City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to the Hospice at Riverside and Grant, 3535 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214-3998.
