Margaret June Brown, 90, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was born June 17, 1921 in Columbus, daughter of the late Ross and Lois Tracht Shoemaker. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Herman Brown; daughter, Sue Ellen (Michael) Miller; son, Robin Brown; brother, Richard Shoemaker; granddaughter, Bethany Joy Miller and many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Westerville High School and Otterbein College. Margaret was a lifelong active member of the church and taught for Columbus Public Schools for 5 years. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 10:00-11:30 AM at Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Church, 235 McNaughten Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Africa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
