Margaret H. Brofford, age 74, passed away on November 27, 2011, surrounded by the love and care of her husband and children. She was born on February 23, 1937 in Effingham, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey Alice Lambert-Dixon of Jacksonville, FL and Walter Springs of Portsmouth, OH. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Carl W. Brofford of Circleville, OH, brother, Thomas Allen of Jacksonville, FL, children, Ronnie Cook and wife Jo, Johnnie Wayne (Duke) Cook and wife Judie, Michelle Hoffmannbeck and husband Herb, Starlene Hall-Thomas and husband Randy, Deborah Brofford, Daniel Brofford and wife Carrie, Douglas Brofford and wife Angela. Margaret was blessed with multiple grandchildren including a set of twin boys, as well as numerous great-grandchildren including a set of twin girls. Family will receive family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30am, Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the funeral home with graveside prayers held immediately afterwards at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. The family is honored that services will be blessed by Pastor Tim Swanson of The Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. Margaret was a loving wife, a superior mother who defined faith and friendship to all. You are never forgotten, always loved, and a blessed angel that we will always carry in our heart.
