Margaret Esther Holcomb (Faught), age 63, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009 at her home. She was born to the late Langley and Lillie Faught on February 11, 1946 in Columbus. Margaret graduated from Southern Ohio College in Columbus in 1984 and received certification as private police. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Holcomb, Sr.; and son, Steven Holcomb. Survivors include her sons, Robert (Cheryl) Faught, and Paul Faught; daughters, Kathy (Scott) Templin, and Judith Depue; sisters, Naomi New, Evelyn (Melvin) Vance, and Ruth Bauer; brother, Benny (Patti) Faught; step-children, Brenda Holcomb, Jeffrey Holcomb, and Robert Holcomb, Jr.; special friends, Etta, Jenny, and Fran; 17 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Pastor Faron Tabor of Grace Ministries CCCU officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
