Margaret Josephine Schad passed away on October 9, 2023. Margaret was born on March 28, 1933 to Helen and Michael Dan MacNeil in Iona Nova Scotia, Canada. She is preceded in death by parents; sister Mary "Roddy" Murphy; brothers Collin, Donnie, and Murdock MacNeil; son Steven; and son in law Terry Gebert.
Survived by loving husband Michael and loving and devoted daughters Barbara "Ken" Fairbairn, Helen Gebert, Diane Schad; daughter in law Teresa Schad; grandchildren Josh Riggs, Michael and Adam Schad, Kendra McCarthy, Cody and Dustin "Shelby" Gebert; nieces Shelly and Carol; sister Diane; sister in law Sandra; and several beautiful great grandchildren.
She was a devoted mother and wife, loved cooking and wildflowers and enjoyed her beloved Scottish music with a glass of wine. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
