Margaret "Peggy" Tipton, 64, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Columbus, OH. Peggy was born on December 11, 1953 in Columbus to the late Stanley and Mary Tipton.
She is survived by her daughter, Earin VanHouten and son-in-law, Chad; grandsons, Christopher and Michael; sisters, Janet (Peter) Marshall, Donna (Jim) Montler, Linda Owens and Kimberly (Steve) Kitchen; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Peggy loved nothing more than spending time with her grandsons; she thrived on teaching them and watching them grow. She always had a kind word and hard shoulder, she taught her Daughter and Grandsons, "head up, shoulders back." Her goal was to inspire through action. Peggy, knew how to love, and accept people with grace, if she loved you, you knew it. She would want healing for all of her loved ones during this time.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5 to 7pm at Newcomer Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A memorial service will begin at 7pm.
