Marie Cooper, 96, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 in New Albany, Ohio.
Marie was born on February 27, 1927 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late John Emmel and Helen Emmel.
She is preceded in death by first husband, Clyde Rager; siblings, Helen Ramach, Bill Emmel, Gertrude Ross and Dorothy Potts.
Marie is survived by son, Hal (Kathy) Cooper; grandchildren, Mariah Cooper, Adam Cooper; great-grandchildren, Maddison, Makayla, Logan and Levi Rose and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
