Marie I. Tackett, 76, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Hobart and Esta (Diles) Jenkins, Marie was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tackett; sisters, Barbara Sue Jenkins, Mary Bellomy and Patricia Byble. Survivors include her son, James Blevins, grandchildren, James and David Blevins; sister, Betty (Robert) Bellomy; special friends, Kim and Carol LaFollette, Juanita Forgrave and Glenda Daniel; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marie was a member of the New Albany First Church of Nazarene and was a retiree of GM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 1-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.
