Marie Elena Mcgarvey

Marie Elena McGarvey, age 80, passed away on October 15, 2023 in Grove City, Ohio. Preceded in death by her daughter Carolann Cecil, brothers Ralph Anguiano, Bernard (Bernie) Anguiano, and father Salome Anguiano.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John W. McGarvey. Daughters Kathie (Dannie) Ashcraft of Ohio, and Tonya (David) Perry of WV. Sister, Esperanza (Lonco) Fridley, brother, Sam (Ronnie) Anguiano and Loving sister in law, Sharon Anguiano.
She is the grandmother to Dustin Windmayer (Brittany), Christopher Perry (Jessica) and Aron Perry (Laura) and eight great grand-children. She had many nieces and nephews who loved and called her "Auntie".
She had loving friends who spent time traveling and going to bowling tournaments, Ralph and Stephanie Gohring.
She was a three time cancer survivor. She retired from Chemical Abstracts in 1992. She was born in Chicago, IL but was a Buckeye fan to the heart. In her final days she trusted Jesus and was ready to go home. She will be truly missed by those lives she touched.
