Marie Whaley, age 85 of Grove City, OH, passed away on January 8, 2023. She was born on March 1, 1937 to the late Rev. Arthur Hayes and Nannie Gladys (Gollie) Bragg in Glen Alum, WV. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Rhoda Carte, granddaughter Rose Whaley, great granddaughter Ashlyn Whaley. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Lorrie) Whaley and Amanda (Stephen) Rumich, grandchildren Christina (Josh) Hammond and Rich Whaley, great grandchildren Shelby Whaley, Desmond Whaley, Bryanna Whaley, Alex Hammond, Jillian Hammond, Miss Ellie Hammond and Jaxon Whaley.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm with Pastor Bobby Smith. Entombment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
