Marilyn Lou Allen

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024 Marilyn Lou (Kight) Allen, age 88, went peacefully to meet her Lord and Savior, leaving her sister, Patti Fry, and brothers, Jack Kight (Judy) and Bob Kight (Linda), and brother-in-law, Michael Allen (Barbara) and sister-in-law, Wanita Allen. She also left several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Allen; her parents, Jack and Ruth Kight; brother­ in-law, Greg Allen and sister-in-law Annetta Yates; and brother-in-law, Jerry Fry. 

Marilyn graduated from West High School in June, 1955, and worked for the Ohio Department of Taxation. After marrying Gary Allen, they participated in the Foster Children's Program for several years. Marilyn retired from First Community Village, where she was the Activity Director, and was loved by all.

A Memorial Service will be held July 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Stonybrook United Methodist Church, 485 Cherry Bottom Road, Gahanna, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Stonybrook Church Choir or in Marilyn's memory to the Central Ohio Alzheimer's Association.
