Marilyn Thomas, age 77, passed away on November 1, 2021. She was born on June 25, 1944 to the late Alice and Sylvester Vogel in Ravenna, Ohio.
Marilyn graduated from West High School in 1963, where she participated in basketball. She was an avid animal lover and adored her multiple cats through the years. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, bike riding, crafts, camping, playing cards and motorcycles. Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, blue eyes and her spunky personality.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 46 years, Roger; daughter, Linda (Craig) Igel; children, Debbie (Mike) Burtnett, Vickie (Pete) Burtnett and Michael Thomas (deceased); brother, Joseph Vogel (deceased); multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119. We will meet at the front gates just prior to process to the Chapel together.
