Marion F. Smith (Mick), 87, of Worthington Ohio, passed away July 27, 2023. Marion was born May 22, 1936 to Chester and Ruth (Primmer) Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chester Lee Smith.
He is survived by his three daughters, Andrea (Allen) Fankhauser, Erin (Joseph) Hinkle, Heather (Shawn Loebach) Smith; grandchildren, Brittney Hinkle, Collin Fankhauser, Andrea & Joshua Planck and their children Justin & Abbie Planck; Joseph Hinkle Jr. and his son JD Hinkle; his longtime friend and neighbor Katherine Proctor; as well as his niece and nephews.
His daughters and their families were the most important thing in his life.
He loved being outdoors and doing yard work at his home and his family's homes. He visited thrift stores looking for treasures and was an avid Hot Wheel collector. He loved to be at home reading the paper, watching sports and listening to his favorite music or radio station. He believed that everything could be fixed with a little bit of duct tape.
Per his wishes there will be no services.
